  cbg new contract

CBG is pleased to announce the successful signing of two pivotal agreements on August 22nd. These agreements include a Provisional Land Management Agreement and a Plantation Service Agreement with the esteemed L’École Nationale des Eaux et Forêts (the National Forestry School) located in Oyack, Mbalmayo. The Provisional Land Management Agreement grants CBG access to an expansive land area encompassing up to 10,000 hectares within NFS's Forest Management Unit (FMU 08 005) in the Mbam, Inoubou, and Kim Divisions of the Centre Region, Cameroon. The allocation, however, remains contingent on NFS obtaining a Certificate of Compliance from the Ministry of Forests and Wildlife of the State of Cameroon. The Plantation Service Agreement outlines the comprehensive operational framework for both parties to collaboratively develop a sustainable Balsa Plantation and oversee the agroforestry management of the designated management area. CBG's President, Mr. Robert Sabum, expressed his delight with the swift progress achieved in our joint endeavours with the School. He stated, "The signing of these agreements represents a significant milestone for both parties, marking the commencement of our collaborative efforts towards obtaining the Certificate of Compliance from the Ministry." We are excited about the prospects these agreements hold for our shared vision and look forward to a successful partnership with the National Forestry School.
